About PDFmoji
PDFmoji was born from a simple frustration: having to redo a whole document just to fix a typo, a date or an address in a PDF.
Our mission
Make editing a PDF as easy as editing plain text. Tap a word, change it, and PDFmoji rewrites it in the document’s original font: same size, same color, same place.
Our principles
- Your files stay with you. Documents are processed in your browser; they are never sent to or stored on our servers. Only what you choose to give the Assistant is sent to it.
- Zero ads. No banners, no advertising cookies, no selling of data. The service is funded by PDFmoji Pro.
- A real free plan. Merging, splitting, compressing, converting, signing and filling in stay free and unlimited, with no sign-up needed to try.
- Clear prices. A 7-day pass that does not renew, or a no-commitment subscription you can cancel at any time.
What PDFmoji does
Edit text, sign, fill in forms, merge, split, compress, organize and rotate pages, protect with a password, recognize text in scans, convert to Word, Excel or images, plus an Assistant that summarizes, translates or answers your questions about the document. See all tools.
How it works
PDFmoji is built on open, proven technology: pdf.js (Mozilla) to display documents, pdf-lib to write them, and your browser’s built-in AES-256 encryption for password protection. The Assistant uses Claude, Anthropic’s artificial intelligence model.
Who we are
PDFmoji is a French service, designed and developed in France, in the Yvelines area west of Paris. Accounts are hosted in Paris. Details about the publishing company are in the legal notice.
